Pallet Sample Defect Types

Defect Types are used within the Pallet Sorting module to categorise the kinds of faults that can be found when pallets are sorted and inspected. A Defect Type provides a high-level grouping — for example, Packaging, Product, or Labelling — under which individual Defect IDs can be organised.

Defect Types are selected when recording faults via the Pallet Samples & Faults screen, and are available as filter criteria in the Enquiries & Reports screens.
